Blue Richardson

Blue Richardson was born and raised in Boston MA. His mission to better his community blossomed at a young age. Working with his first community service organization, Close To Home, Blue aided in helping teens and young adults utilize their time in ways that would promote a promising future. With time, Blue’s attention shifted to the LGBTQQ+ community. In 2014, he found Boston GLASS, where he began volunteer work. This eventually led to his employment there, where he specalized in safer sex education and event organzing for the youth of the community. His real passion though, is dance. Blue began his training in Classical and Modern techniques at the age of 14, upon being accepted to Boston Arts Academy. Since then he has trained and performed all over New England. From performing original works set by exquisite freelance artists, to learning and performing works set by historical figures over 100 years ago, Blue’s artistry is expansive and wildy versatile. One of his proudest moments was when he co-directed and performed at  “Art Fuse”, an art festival that incorporated music, dance, and visual arts. The turn out was far beyond anything the young dancer could have imagined, and helped him realize his potential in roles outside that of a performer, such as that of a director. Blue aims to continue his mission of uniting his community through the arts in his professional career.
